HOMES FOR THOSE WITHOUT ONE
The children preparing for a drama presentationIn Northern India Help International has been able to assist in providing houses which are able to house around eighty deprived and orphaned children. These homes have been built specifically for the children.
Living in the homes alongside the children are house parents who care and show Christian love to those who have experienced very little, if any, in their young lives.
CHILDRENS HOME IN INDIA
The emphasis in these homes is on education, health and good social skills. But also they provide music lessons as well as drama and dance to give the children a fully rounded and fun-filled life. Something that for the majority they never dreamed of.
Help International is continuing to raise funds for further homes.
Our partner who heads up Rays of Joy Ministries explains:
People gathering for the opening ceremony“It moves us again and again when we see how children that come to our homes begin to show change even within a short period of time. Some come with behavioural problems, others can not speak properly, some completely lack a sense of hygiene, while others have never dressed properly.
Every little noticeable progress gives us a feeling of satisfaction, that our work and labour is not in vain. We pour out our love to these children and we feel that they are just like our own.
Whenever these, once hopeless, children perform in church or at any function with a song, dance or drama, it is so obvious, that every child has God given abilities, that need an environment of love and care, these need to be developed and used for the glory of God their maker.
This is the purpose of our children's homes in North-India”.
